Welcome to Sostasis. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, listing a venue, or using any part of the Sostasis platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Platform Description
Sostasis is a marketplace that connects event planners with venue hosts. We facilitate connections but are not a party to any agreements between hosts and event planners. We do not own, manage, or operate any venues listed on the platform.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be at least 18 years of age
4. Venue Host Responsibilities
If you list a venue on Sostasis, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information about your venue
- Upload only photos and videos of your actual venue
- Keep your availability calendar up to date
- Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Honor commitments made to event planners
- Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations
- Have all necessary licenses and permits to operate your venue
5. Fees, Subscriptions, and Billing
Sostasis operates on a subscription model for venue hosts. Listing a venue is free; however, once a venue is approved and made visible by our team, a subscription fee of ₪99 per month applies per active venue listing.
Trial Period
New hosts may receive a complimentary trial period at our discretion, during which no payment is collected. The length of the trial, if any, will be communicated at the time of venue approval.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize Sostasis to charge the applicable monthly fee automatically.
Taxes
All subscription fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, including value-added tax (VAT) or goods and services tax (GST). If applicable law requires us to collect VAT or similar taxes, these will be added to your invoice at the prevailing rate. Israeli business customers with a valid VAT registration number may be subject to self-assessment of VAT under applicable reverse-charge rules. You are responsible for determining and paying any taxes applicable to your use of the platform in your jurisdiction.
Failed Payments and Grace Period
If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and retry the charge. You will have a 30-day grace period to resolve the issue. If payment is not received within the grace period, your venue listing will be hidden from search results (not deleted). Once payment is resolved, your listing will be reinstated.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your venue will remain visible until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be hidden.
Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at billing@sostasis.com within 14 days of the charge.
Promotions
Sostasis may offer regional or time-limited promotional periods at its discretion. Any promotional terms will be communicated individually and do not constitute a binding offer.
6. Client Responsibilities
If you are searching for venues, you agree to:
- Verify all venue information directly with hosts
- Conduct your own due diligence before making bookings
- Communicate respectfully with venue hosts
- Honor any agreements or contracts you enter into
- Not misuse contact information or harass hosts
- Comply with venue rules and policies
7. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Use automated systems to scrape data
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Use the platform for illegal purposes
8. Content Rights and License
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, videos, descriptions). By posting content, you grant Sostasis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of providing our services.
9. Admin Review and Approval
All venue listings and edits are subject to admin review and approval. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or request changes to any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that violate these Terms or contain inappropriate content.
10. Limitation of Liability
Sostasis is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between hosts and event planners, venue conditions, or event outcomes. We provide the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior. You may cancel your account at any time.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Israel. If you are accessing the platform from outside Israel, you agree that Israeli law governs your use of the platform.
By using Sostasis, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
