1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, listing a venue, or using any part of the Sostasis platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Sostasis is a marketplace platform that:

• Allows venue hosts to list and promote their event spaces
• Enables event planners to search, browse, and discover venues
• Facilitates direct communication between hosts and potential clients
• Provides tools for availability management and venue information display

Important: Sostasis is a listing platform only. We do not facilitate bookings, process payments, or enter into contracts on behalf of hosts or clients. All agreements are made directly between users.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sostasis. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not share your account with others
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate others

5. Venue Host Responsibilities

If you list a venue on Sostasis, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete venue information
• Upload only photos and videos you own or have permission to use
• Keep availability calendars current and accurate
• Respond promptly to client inquiries
• Honor bookings and commitments made through the platform
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and zoning requirements
• Maintain adequate insurance coverage for your venue
• Not discriminate against users based on protected characteristics
• Update or remove listings if venue details change

6. Client Responsibilities

If you are searching for venues, you agree to:

• Verify all venue information directly with hosts
• Conduct your own due diligence before making bookings
• Communicate respectfully with venue hosts
• Honor any agreements or contracts you enter into
• Not misuse contact information or harass hosts
• Comply with venue rules and policies

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Use automated systems to scrape data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Engage in fraudulent activities
• Manipulate reviews or ratings (when implemented)
• Use the platform for illegal purposes

8. Content Rights and License

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, videos, descriptions). By posting content, you grant Sostasis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of providing our services.

9. Admin Review and Approval

All venue listings and edits are subject to admin review and approval. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or request changes to any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that violate these Terms or contain inappropriate content.

10. Fees and Payments

Currently, Sostasis is free to use for both hosts and clients. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with advance notice. All booking payments and transactions are made directly between hosts and clients - Sostasis does not process payments.

11. Intellectual Property

The Sostasis platform, including its design, features, code, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Sostasis and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ACCURACY OF INFORMATION, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOSTASIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sostasis, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of others.

14. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

15. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between users (hosts and clients) should be resolved directly between the parties. Sostasis is not responsible for mediating or resolving such disputes.

16. Governing Law

17. Changes to Terms
